Ethical Business Excellence Award: A Tribute to Our Origins
Last Friday, our president, Francisco Gómez Palma, received from Sinergias Club the Ethical Business Excellence Award. A recognition that fills us with satisfaction and that reflects our way of understanding the company: working with a vocation for excellence, preserving the values that have guided us until today and generating a positive impact on society.
During his speech, our Chairman dedicated the award to his parents, who founded the company 73 years ago -an anniversary we will celebrate on December 4-, recalling how they instilled in their children the importance of honesty, solidarity, daily effort and the constant search for excellence. As he himself pointed out: "only by aiming for the stars can you reach the moon".
He also stressed that the first mission of any company is to generate profit, and the second is to give back to society part of what it has given. An example of this philosophy is the various initiatives we have launched, such as support for local sports, our scholarship program for university students in Marbella and the promotion of new projects such as Tu Primer Hogar, a company created to provide young people with access to their first home without having to pay a down payment.
